Undefined is a semi-abstract relief that combines strong tactile and visual imagery to showcase the spontaneous and at times surreal aspects of nature. Inspired by the plants at Allan Gardens in Toronto and the play Huis Clos by Sartre, this mixed-media piece is about pushing boundaries and being liberated from conventions, such as perpendicular borders. We have the choice and power to change as we are free and undefined, and should take action while we still can.
